How to Get the Google Play Store on Gionee Elife S5.5

So you got yourself the slimmest smartphone in the world and noticed there's no Google Play Store right? Who makes a phone with no Google Play Store?!

Update your device.

The first thing you are going to want to do is update your phone. For good measure I recommend having amigo version 2.0.8 or above.

Unknown Sources

Seocnd thing you're going to want to do is make sure the "unknown sources" check box is ticked. This will allow you to install apps from the internet. You can find this setting under Security. So go Settings -> Security -> Unknown Sources.

Download the Google Play Store apk.

You can search the internet for the Google Play Store apk or just follow the Mega link I have provided. It might be easier to do this on a desktop computer and then transfer it to your device via USB.

Install the Google Play Store app.

Finally, just navigate to where you saved your apk file and tap it, it should ask you if you want to install, tap "install" and you are done.
